Ok, after looking more into the crack that is GetBackers canon, I have sum updated infos on Akabane, and his 'I can't die' thing majig, as well as a few other 'Essay' like tidbits on his psyche.

Permission stuff!:

Threadhopping: That's fine! Just use good judgment when to use it. ^^

Touching/hugging/kissing/whatev: Yush, your chars can go ahead and do so if they're sincere about it! It'll make him quite confused, though.

Attacking: Just as long as he is given the opportunity to dodge and such. Just remember not to godmode and it should be fine. ^^ Be warned though, he's likely to attack you back if he's hit.

Things one shouldn't mention:
Pretty much everything is free game. If something ends up hitting a nerve, he'll just act casual and avoid answering the question/commenting on what you said.

Things a person should know!: If killed normally, there's a high chance he will revive on his own (without the island's 'respawning' deal) within somewhere between 5-30 minutes, depending on the damage. He won't be in the best of conditions to continue fighting, though.

Akabane's a bit of a mysterious character. Due to being not quite right in the head anymore, he's focused on hitting the limits of his own abilities. He no longer gets much of a thrill out of just killing people that are weaker than him, and would rather fight people that are a challenge.

Quick bits to know about his personality:
- He won't attack people without a reason (Just ain't polite). He would love it if people challenged him to fights now and then; if he gets too bored he might start handing out challenges to people he thinks are strong, or seek out people.

- Friendship, love, and those sort of emotions don't make much sense to him, but they do touch a well-hidden nerve. It takes a lot of work for him to view someone as beyond 'someone he knows', and his loyalties are questionable at best.


Special abilities!:
- His blood, which is what his power is linked with. He can control his blood freely, form the metal and other materials in it into solid shapes, and even control any of the items made from his blood, and his blood itself, when they're outside of his body, almost in a psychic way.

Also, any material that is in small pieces/particles, like glass dust, he can absorb into his blood and also manipulate freely.

- Inhumanly strong (he can carry a full grown grizzly bear without strain. On his shoulder.) and inhumanly fast. (He can also stand on walls/ceilings.) He also heals much more rapidly when not engaged in combat.

- Reviving. His body actually will revive itself after he dies. But doing so uses up a high amount of blood. Despite how 100% better he looks once he gets up, he will actually be in a very weakened state for some time. (Good at hiding it, isn't he?) He's like a cockroach...

- His favored object to make with his blood is scalpels.

- He has several 'special attacks', which are mostly just certain formations of his scalpels that he uses often. All special attacks/special defenses have a name, and start with the word 'Bloody'. Charming.

Misc Info!:

- He has an unhealthy obsession with Ban Midou and Ginji Amano from the series. There is a possibility of him becoming obsessed with other people, if they show they have powers that challenge his, and aren't boring to him. If he becomes obsessed with you, he might go out of his way to 'conveniently' see you, and generally be more creepy than usual, perhaps looking for good excuses to fight you.

The good news about being on his 'obsessed' list is that he will be more willing to help you, and will actually go out of his way to save/protect you and your friends from other people if the situation calls for it. ('Only I am allowed to kill this person' syndrome.)

- If you ever see him without a shirt/gloves on, he has several very bad scars, and an odd tattoo on his shoulder. The worst and most notable scar would be about an inch deep at most, running from the top of his left shoulder all the way down to his waist. (He's also extremely skinny.)

- If you don't want him to kill your character you can go ahead and tell me; but if your character doesn't provoke him, he won't attack you, as a general rule.
